I need to find out the name of this song, or people are going to die.

I'm serious about the title, this thing has been in my brain for about two months. I've tried searching on the webz with no luck. The details are gonna be kind of opaque, but that's the best I can give without the help of some telepathy device.

On a virtual piano I managed to get the approximate tune...

The main part of the song goes like: E, G#, B, A (loops)
It sounds somewhat like a recording of a violin orchestra playing backwards.

There's also this liquidy piano part (something like: high C, A#, A, A#, A, G, A, G, F),
There might be some random vocals there too.
It's kinda chill and relaxed.

It's kinda modern and moderately famous.

I've not tried any of the chords to see if it's the right progression, but it other than that Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve ticks all the boxes.

While I can't read chords/notes/whatever, this doesn't have vocals, nor is it particularly popular, maybe Glorious Morning by Waterflame ?

Possibly Porcelain by Moby?  Although that's probably recognisable enough that the great power of Google would've already caught that one for you.
