Can't find Target

I'm playing adventure mode and I was assigned to kill a vampire, I arrived at the specified location, and I can't find the vampire or an entrance to a cave. What am I doing wrong? Sorry for any errors with this post, I'm new to the forums and the game.

It looks kind of like you're right next to a city. If that's the case, you might want to talk to any nearby citizens.. they may be the vampire you're looking for.

i think if the vampire lives in a city, the quest just directs you to the centrepoint of the city, talk to some citizens about it and they should tell you to: 'search first in a cottage to the southwest!' the person youre looking for (probable cos i use phoebus) will flash blue like your companions
