Spattering of Blood
« on: June 03, 2013, 12:07:42 am »

I have noticed recently when one of my Dwarves was planting wild strawberries he left blood? How do I know where it is from? His blood is also in other places as well? UPDATE: I don't have a dwarf under the name that the blood is there by? What!??!

it could be a named animal, goblin, kobold or other invader. Was anything killed in a weaponstrap for example?

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.

Was it raining at the time? Rain washes off contaminants.

The dwarf could have been a caravan guard or merchant. If you're that interested, you could make a copy of your save, abandon the copy, and then look up the dwarf in the copy's Legends mode.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.
