If I have servants, appoint one as head gardener and set him/her to work clearing out the weeds. If I do not have servants, hire one and then appoint them head gardener. Do a brief survey of the lands around my castle, just to get an idea of the terrain and resources.

Hire masons to upgrade my palisades and the general quality of my castle. I'm willing to spend up to 100 gold on this.
Meditate upon the Staff in the shrine to Arthas, hoping to unlock hidden magical power.

Also, because I really don't want to have to write a complex web of subordinates for every player, the feudal lords below you are faceless.
