It's been quite a while since I've been able to do that successfully, so I can't remember if that really worked.

But I believe they can only curse you when they see you?

Hm. Thanks for all the information, also, is there any negative effects to having eyes "fractured" or cut, and teeth being knocked out?

Teeth certainly don't matter, but eye injuries could result in blindness.

Hmm can you still talk to mummies or recruit them as a vampire?

Should be able to, yeah. I've never had mummies turn me down as a vampire.

dont you lose the ability to bite ppl if your teeth get knocked out? that could be a major problem for adventurers who relay on their teeth as weapons.

Currently for adventure mode vanilla, eye injuries heal almost instantly after fast travel or sleeping.

You can bring along some meatshields brave treasure hunters and let them disturb the mummy first. That way they get cursed and you're free to slay the mummy and/or run away.

Well, I aways think that its simple, you only need to throw a !!peasant!! inside there and lock the door, wait 30 min at 360 Cº and open the door, or you got a nice skeleton cake or a bersek !!mummy!!. :D
