I Need A Prospector! (Or Help for One...)

I really wanted a prospector so I could see the minerals I will have available to me whenever I embark, like tetahedrite or limonite.
I got one, called "prospector," (whataya know?) but I do not know how to work it. All it says is "Refresh" and nothing happens.
Do you know how to work this? Or, if you know of one, a different prospector?

Nevermind, I am just going to use the DFHack "prospect all" command.

DFHack is a fantastic utility for prospecting as well as management of dwarves. I suggest checking out the digv, workflow, and getplants commands, too.
