Dark Fortress

So I'm on the tile that says dark fortress...where is it? I was attacked by goblins once, but I see no fortress.

They're not here...
Yet.

In the next version you'll be able to visit dark fortresses, goblin towers, elf retreats, dwarven sites and whatever else strikes your fancy.
Right now they're just empty.

They used to exist before the site remaking.

They were uniform obsidian towers with large empty hallways with the occasional goblin about. They're going to be way more detailed soon.

I've heard people speak of the next version, is it coming soon, or is this just "when it's done" talk?

When it's done talk, basically. Although at the most hopeful estimate we may see it around late may/early june.
