Dorfs wont cleanup corpse on my well

A giant toad came out of my well and was quickly killed by a nearby miner who was drinking out of it at the time. Now the corpse is rotting on my well but none of the dwarves are moving it and the maisma is getting bad. I have refuse and graveyard piles and I've set jobs to bury and haul refuse but none of them are moving the thing even when they have no active jobs. Is there something I could be missing?

The corpse piece is stuck there, and there's no way to get it off unless it's washed off by a flood or you deconstruct the well (not recommended because it will leave a channel behind and you can't rebuild it). Don't worry about it too much, as the miasma will eventually stop and the well will still work as normal, only it will have decayed skeleton on top of it.

Sounds like a bug that Toady should fix if you ask me.  ;)

It won't be *half* rotten... as the miasma should stop one day.

Maybe they tack the bucket onto the remaining bones?
