GAH where is the blasted book!

Ok... so. Tome I'm looking for containing the secrets of cybernetics from a certain mod, was placed in a hamlet. Now... I've searched every building I can find... but nothing, just farmers and a couple of soldiers I recruited.

How likey is it that the book is just lost in a field somewhere?

It might just be a slab, in which case in my experiences is usually in a random house, but I really wouldn't know.
