Push your boardgame into your computer: http://www.wolfire.com/desperate-gods

It has all the awesome of flipping cards manually and playing 52 pickup with all the pieces.

Our last game of BSG went as expected... my wife gained my complete trust, as usual, then turned out to be a Cylon, along with the nicest guy in our game group. Of course, by this time they had managed to put all three humans in the Brig before revealing. It was me, a guy who was played Sharon, who gets 3 loyalty cards instead of 2 and was TOTALLY acting suspicious, and another guy who just likes fighting and won't ever play cooperative games, and was also acting super suspicious. Ugh.

We had a game where a new player managed to win as Cylon, even though the game seemed to be in the bag for humans.  Late game: one Cylon already outed, and being successfully managed.  He's begging for help from the 2nd Cylon, but no, entire group is killing the skill checks and we're just one jump away from an easy win.  We figure the 2nd Cylon is one of the new players and doing the typical new player thing - too worried about being outed, unsure of his Cylon options, and playing too cooperatively.  We are low on everything, but only population is in the red.  Just need to get a few more FTL spin-ups and we win... 2nd cylon sneakily establishes that noone has the +2 to die rolls card on a previous skill check, then on his turn activates the FTL drive too early.  Gamble pays off:  We fail the -3 population penalty check for the early spin-up; population goes to zero, Cylons win.  Brilliant, and oh so lucky that the FTL drive arrived to his turn at that convenient state.

ProvingGrounds was merely a setback.

Hahahahah, aw man, that's amazing! We've never had anyone do that, but it coming from a new player must be a blast! :D

BSG is such an amazing game :)
