...wtf. That would cause chaos like nothing else.

...but it's playable. It kind of reminds of a doomspeaker, except your desire is to manuever the game into a situation such that whatever alignment you have at LYLO you can decide the game in your favor.

...yeah. That seems dumb.

Seems like one of those things that sounds interesting in theory but wasn't actually thought all the way through.

It reminds me of the rules me and my friends invented for playing 4-square. Except those worked fairly well and bad rules were thrown out pretty quickly.

Wouldn't you just bus your buddy/ies when you shift back to town? Or...they'd have to shoot you "because you know too much"?

You forgot the part where the Politician changes his alignment every 2 days, big difference. Most games end at day 2 or day 3.
