I Am Looking to Buy This Computer, Is It Good?
« on: February 23, 2013, 12:08:30 am »

CybertronPC Syclone II TGM4242C Gaming PC - AMD Six-Core FX-6100 3.30GHz, 16GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, Blu-ray/DVDRW, 2x 1GB AMD Radeon HD 7750, Windows 8 64-bit, Keyboard & Mouse

Is this computer any good? I want to use it for gaming, and I would be paying $1400 for it.

CybertronPC Mechatron TGM4242Q Gaming PC - AMD Eight-Core FX-8120 3.10GHz, 16GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, Blu-ray, 2x 1GB AMD Radeon HD 7770, Windows 8 Pro 64-bit, Keyboard & Mouse

This is is $50 cheaper. Should I get this one?

CyberPowerPC Gamer Zeus GZ6400L Gaming PC - AMD FX-8150 3.6GHz, 16GB DDR3, 2TB HDD, Blu-ray Player/DVDRW, 2GB AMD Radeon HD 7850, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Here is another one, for $1150. Maybe this one?

iBUYPOWER SUPREME TG908SLC Gaming PC - 3rd generation Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz, 16GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670, Liquid Cooling, DVDRW, 800 Watt, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

And finally, one for $1500. Which of these four should I get? Or should I get any of them?

Thanks in Advance--

The only difference between a human student and a dwarf is that dwarfs have the ability to create and destroy matter.
So will the dwarf with the broken spine recover and use a crutch?

I have never heard of this brand, so idk if they are good. But would you like to build your own. You would get your moneys worth. Since buying a cooler that costs $20 might cost $30 or $40 for a prebuilt pc. Or any other part. But I built my pc and it cost about $1500 minus the $420 i spent on keyboard, headphones and monitor. So I would see what other people have to say. I'm no expert on this. But hopefully you will consider building your own. The hardest part is choosing the parts imo.

The iBUYPOWER one is really good for the money, and they offer decent customer service. If you're not gonna build yourself I'd go with that one.

I've got an iBUYPOWER computer, and it's not bad at all.

Either of the Windows 7 computers look like they're good value. It looks like the Windows 8 computers don't have nearly as much in the way of GPUs or CPUs.

I can't vouch their recent models, i had a couple of those roll into my shops where one of the sata components died due to the psu or the motherboard eating it.

I suggest build your own really. It is like building lego, only with more screws and wires. There are tons of guides how to do it on the internet and unless you are colorblind, I think you can put red male plug end into red female socket instead of yellow :P All wires also have text on them which tell you what they are. Will also make you learn something new and save you money on repairs, since you will have a general idea on what is wrong.
