Alharz fell into legend as the Forgotten Prince, Lord of the Dreaming, and soon, many assumed he was nothing but a figure to tell stories of.

Meanwhile, Ama-lo-Zibara set his followers on a crusade against the followers of Hadrac, to stop him from destroying lies and treachery. For Ama-lo-Zibara was borne of dreams as well, the dreams from which rumours and myths like that of the Forgotten Prince are born, and he bore a slight allegiance, not enough to help him, but a slight sympathy for Alharz, and so, in his newborn mind, he made the illogical conclusion that if Hadrac were to destroy lies, deceit, myths, and rumours, then dreams would fall too, and so all would forever be cursed to live a dreamless life. As a chaotic god and one borne of dreams, he would not allow this to happen.

Ama-lo-Zibara's clash with Hadrac rocked the mortal world to it's core. The two largest Harzi kingdoms annihalated each other before peace was wrought, and then only through a mutual understanding that neither could win. much knowledge was lost as the Harzi entered a second dark age, and what little remained gained almost religous importance to the mortals. From this, a new god was born, and his name was Corvus ( ;)).
Corvus however, was drawn not to the Harzi, but to the Alharzoi in their eternal void. For many had spoken to them over the years, and they knew much. He proclaimed them the Memires, the keepers of knowledge, past, present, and future. And he reminded mortals of the creatures of dream, that they would be known once more.

Alharz, the Forgotten Prince, explored the sparsely populated Somnic Realm, the world of the dreaming, to seek solace. The Alharzoi were incapable of dreamwalking anymore, and so it was lonely, but the Prince of Dreams explored the Realm of Dreams.

Meanwhile, Ama-lo-Zibara faded into mist, exploring the world. Nobody noticed, due to his ability to alter a mortal's perception.

The Alharzoi continued their decline, as their stasis was now broken by Corvus interacting with them, and mortals knowing and interacting with them.

The gods explored the world of both the mortals and of dreams, and upon one point they felt each others presence. This clash ripped a veil between the world of the living and the dream realm, whose very nature prevented its existence being remembered.
The Alharzoi, their doom impending, banished themselves from the centres of civilization, to the worlds edges. there, they became known as oracles and soothsayers, sought by many but found by few. The Alharzoi themselves began to worship new gods, forsaken by those of the past. These gods were primal beings, whose very nature was tied to the world. They were many, but a few grew into true gods:
 Lunis, the god on night
 Solis, the god of day
 Purlos, the god of fire
 Undunos, the god of water
 Teros, the god of earth
 Azuros, the god of wind
 Aetheros, the god of spirit
The worship of these was spread by those who returned from seeking the Alharzoi, for they believed them to be infallible in their worship.

The Alharzoi, though they worshipped other gods, still required the power of the Somnic Realm to live.

Dying, the Alharzoi gathered together in one great meeting. However, they could resolve no salvation, and as such, they left to wander the world for one last time, slowly passing away. However, one Alharzoi, distraught, stumbled upon the rift - and upon entering the Somnic Realm, not as a visitor, but body also, was filled with strength beyond his imaginings. He was unable to leave the Somnic Realm again, but from within it, he realised he could still influence the mortal world. The mortals, feeling his hand in their lives, named him Pheonar, the god of Life and Rebirth.
But to every god there is a counterpart. The mortals likewise began to worship Thaneos, the god of Death and the Afterlife.

Alharz walked upon Pheonar, remorseful of his decision.

As Pheonar was the last of the Alharzoi, he permitted him to leave the Somnic Realm....but forever shut him out of it, lest he return to destroy him.

Story so far condensed: And Ryneth slept a deep sleep in the void, and so came he to dream of things that were not as yet, and from that dream sprang the goat-headed mother goddess Baagrun, whereat Ryneth grew exceeding lustful. And from the dreams of Ryneth sprung Alharz, Prince of the Somnic Realms, and god of dreams. So Ryneth saw a figure in many colours, surveying him, for he was the only dreaming creature yet. And Ryneth and Baagrun did copulate with great fury, yea, till Baagrun's heart was brast apart from the exertions thereof. And as Baagrun fell lifeless into the void, her flesh filled the void and made the firmament, the good earth. And the seed of Ryneth did spew across the surface of Baagrun, and it was life. And so life dreamt, and Alharz, great with happiness, explored their dreams and gained power from his domain. With this new power, he created the Alharzoi, life in his image, a man with many colors, and they explored the world, gaining his ability to dreamwalk, albeit when asleep, lest they attempt to usurp the Prince of the Somnic Realm. The Alzharoi grew tired of Alzharz's limiting of their powers, and seeking to gain power over him dreamwalked into the minds of many others. These others saw the Alzharoi as gods, and one in particular drew strength from this. He ascended, becoming known as Silath, the god of tricksters. Alharz, disgusted by their disgrace of his gift, set upon them an ultimatum. Either cease attempting to usurp him or risk being locked from the Somnic Realm. Silath agreed, and in way of apology, gifted Alharz with a pendant of purest emerald.
However, when Alharz put the pendant on, he found that he could not remove it, and that he was unable to see the Alharzoi, who continued as before, enjoying their newfound worship. Outraged, Alharz walked into the Somnic Realm, and banished all of the Alharzoi from it, preventing them from dreaming or dreamwalking, leaving them with nothing but a void upon sleep. He then went to Silath, and cursed him to dream of a world where trickery did not exist, every single day, for his trickery, and sealed him off from the rest of the Somnic Realm, before sealing himself in a stone tomb, mourning the loss of the children he had granted the power to dreamwalk.Silath, dismayed at these dreams, used his waking moments to speak to a mortal, of the race called Harzi who were flourishing on the planet.
He told him of a stone tomb, wherin lay great power for whoever found it, and let the legend proliferate throughout the Harzi. Alharz lay, sorrowful in the tomb. The Somnic Realm was now only open to all who did not hate him, and he did not understand why his children had rebelled against him, even after the gift of dreamwalking was given. The Alharzoi, meanwhile, deprived of their link to the Somnic Realm, slowly died. They were borne of the Realm, and without their access to the Somnic Realm, were dying. But they did not repent. And, from the rumours, lies, and myths spread, rose a new god. Ama-lo-Zibara, god of the concealing mist, and god of rumours, myths, and lies. He thrived on the legend of the Tomb of Dreams, and went to Silath, seeing a kindred spirit. The gods explored the world of both the mortals and of dreams, and upon one point they felt each others presence. This clash ripped a veil between the world of the living and the dream realm, whose very nature prevented its existence being remembered.
