So, as was stated in the title, I'd like to ask you guys for your opinions about music well-suited for a documentary about fire and their causes.

You have twothree choices:
- Something heavy with electric guitars, but no lyrics.
- Something somewhat mysterious and enigmatic
- Heavy dubstep (not so heavy to block the speakers)

I'd like to thank you guys in advance for your possible cooperation.

Hm, I would've gone for something like the DF theme but less energetic. I'd go for option 2.

You could have various styles of music go with various causes. Like, electrical and chemical fires could be dubstep, and more natural ones cold be mysterious.

That might make all the music clash horribly between parts, though.

Well, if there are specific songs you could recommend, I'd add it too, but only if it captures one of the themes stated. So, I guess recommending specific songs is fine.

Pelican is the best - and only - instrumetal (sic) band I know. It'd be great for something like this. Drought, from the album Australasia, comes to mind. (Though most of Australasia sounds like it would fit.)

The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw (their second album) is a bit less heavy, if you're interested.
