Hello,

Playing a DF game but realized I would like to understand some of the engravings my folks are putting on the wall.  Some of them are about my Fortress and the people who live in it but other images don't make any sense.   But I did not look at the histories and such before starting the game and the menu selection is, of course, different now that I am playing in the world.  Anyway to see that information without hacking into the game and completely screwing it up?

One way would be to save your game, back it up. abandon your fortress then you can view legends mode at your leisure and use your backed up save file when you want to return to your fortress.
