Well, not necessarily German, could be anything relatively close. :P I'll check out that site, though.

Weird, this thread hasn't been showing up in my unread replies.
Spooky.

Sometimes you can find fully built gaming computers on craigslist or ebay. If you're up for that, they're probably pretty good quality.

I'm pretty sure none of those ship to Europe. Not living in the US is really a disadvantage at times.

I'll look into that, Graknorke. I doubt shipping will be a huge deal if it's just from the UK.

EDIT: Took a look at the stuff they have and found this...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-Ivy-Bridge-I7-3770K-HD-Gaming-PC-2tb-16gb-1600mhz-DDR3-Vantage-Computer-/150903766513?pt=UK_Computing_DesktopPCs&hash=item232290bdf1

I'm no expert on computers but this looks like a machine that's worth quite a bit more than 558 euro. Am I missing something?
yes, the price is in gbp, not euros. it's ~650€, still a good deal i think.

I just bought myself this Lenovo:

Do not buy Lenovo laptops for gaming unless you like using graphics drivers that are years out of date. Due to their silly proprietary graphics switching gimmick, you cannot use the standard graphics driver packages with them and must rely on the seldom-updated proprietary ones.

you can technically get around those by cracking the setup and allow it to install on any device but its usually not supported and plus with the new switching graphics system its a really bad idea to go unsupported.
