Only works if you have the trees to power the kiln to make the stuff necessary to finish the pump. Particularly since I use the wood from the wagon to make beds.

What I'm going to try is bringing one fire-safe boulder, and a dozen logs so I can make a glass furnace and build my pumps that way.

the kiln is just so you can order clay gathered, so that your shortage of boulders won't be a problem.

but yeah, i'd forgotten the materials to make a single pump would also be necessary. still not exactly an expensive proposition for embark.
