[ETHIC:CROSSDRESS]
« on: January 06, 2013, 04:21:45 am »

this might be a good ways down the road, but, the idea came to me a short time ago that at some point  toady may get around to fiddling with clothing some more, and possibly making it so cultural fashions might follow gender lines.

I was thinking it might make things interesting if how much a particular civilisation may adhere to such distinctions was yet another thing to flavor their interactions over time.
come to think of it, Might want [ETHIC:NUDITY] as well.

All of the pieces of clothing in dwarffortress are unisex from a medieval viewpoint.

Also the psychological and (visible) physical difference between male and female dwarves in this game is non existent.

Well, if a dwarf is carrying a baby, you can be 99% sure it's a woman. But yeah, dwarven society is almost absurdly unisex.

Oh, and suggested before. Please search, blah blah.
