Naming and it's hazards
« on: December 21, 2012, 01:40:21 pm »

Not sure if this should be here or with the bugs, or if I am just that thick.  I figured out how to name dwarves and rooms and such, but I haven't figured out how to delete a mistake while still naming it.  I tried the "delete" key and a little triangle shows up.  It is getting annoying so if anyone can help.  Much Thanks

You're running MacOS (possibly on a laptop), for which DF's default keybinding for Backspace is broken. There are several reports on the bug tracker; one of them should have a solution that works for you.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
