I've created a game, Skid. You control the green cube, trying to get through mazes to the red cube, despite walls, moving obstacles, and more. However, you constantly accelerate, until you start skidding. Once you start skidding though, you cannot speed up again.

This version is for windows only. If you want a mac version, it's pretty simple for me to do, so let me know.


The thing is, I'm running low on level ideas, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to help me make some. It requires no programming skill. You get a place in the credits. All you need to do is download Unity3d (it's free), tell me you want to make a level, I'll send you the tools and instructions to make it via pm. Thank you so much.

I'm no programmer, but it seems fun.  I enjoy not being able to turn on a dime at higher speeds.

Ideas, though. . .  I don't know the limitations of programming.

Adding speed up/slow down nodes?
Different floors to increase/slow acceleration?
'Ice' or 'Oil'  foot in mouth.

That last level is o.0

Try different shapes for diversity.  Colors?

Building levels takes approximately 0 programming skill. Here are the instructions included with the other necessary stuff: Instructions


As to your suggestions: from what I can understand, they all seem pretty reasonable. Let me just try to clarify them.
1. Shapes. I assume you mean stuff like circular walls and speed changes?
2. Colors. I'm guessing you mean different colored walls and background.
3. Choice in speed. I am unsure what you mean
4. Point system. You have a score, based on how long it takes to complete a level or something.
5. Avatars and sprites. I am unsure of what you mean. Perhaps being able to customize the color of your player? In fact, unlocking new colors based on your score could be good.

I think I'll start on 4 immediately, then maybe work a bit on 2. I'll see if you've clarified anything by then.
