Faster way to increase/decrease?
« on: November 23, 2007, 11:00:00 pm »

Sorry to bother you with a question on my first post, but I grow thoroughly discontented at the rate I add ale to my starting settings. Is there any way to hasten the flow of alchohol (and, of course, other items)?

Do you mean by building more stills? Those can brew drinks for your dwarves.

[Healthcare Update Thread] Personally, I can't wait for doctors to get possessed and start surgically attaching axes to champion soldier's arms.

There isn't, but it's been suggested.

He means pre-embark item selection. He wants a faster way to set the amount using a faster method. Only thing I can think of is using a key macro.

Definitely needed... it's annoying enough just to remove all that default crap I'm not taking with me.

I would love some way to set up a few custom embark options in an INI file somewhere.  It's frustrating having to configure the starting dwarves and goods loadout every time, especially given that sometimes I do all that only to discover I've picked an awful area and I'll need to start over again.
