A world of some peculiar interest

What's so interesting about this boggy, oreless wasteland?

The Kind Armor. A dwarven civ started by a pair of dwarves who would both go on to become necromancers, and still going strong at the end of the year 299. Despite the whole site sitting on an area that reads as containing only deep metal and flux, the civ has access to 8 of the 11 pure metals. The missing ones are aluminium, zinc, and lead, which leaves all the useful ones plus the rather valuable platinum. No coal or lignite though.

So if you want a no-metal site but still want access to a variety of metals, this is a nice world. There's one tower, founded in the year 69, and I believe most of the map reanimates the dead and rains human blood. (Most of the world is taken up by a region called The Morose Bog, and the interactions are called regional ones, so...)

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.
