This project appeals to me as a Worldbuilder and a C# programmer :D

Hope this gets off the ground as it will be an interesting POC read.

Digging's a lot like surgery, see -- you grab the sharp thing and then drive the sharp end of the sharp thing in as hard as you can and then stuff goes flying and then stuff falls out and then there's a big hole and you're done. I kinda wish there was more screaming, but rocks don't hurt so I guess it can't be helped.

I've considered it, yes. Here's what I've got so far:
As long as you know about your options, you can be sure about the one you make.  :)
So out of curiosity, what about networking? Just the .net Remoting stuff?

I do like to make pixel art.  Let me know if you need some help.  I'll try to check my PMs a few times during next week.  If we get started, we can use e-mail to communicate further.

This is what happens when we randomly murder people.

You get attacked by a Yandere triangle monster.

Sorry I haven't contacted anyone about pixel art yet, I will do at some point in the future as I'm hoping to get some awesome art for this going.
Unfortunately just as I manage to settle back into writing the rendering code which has been kicking me about a lot, I've gotten distracted by pretty video games like Planetside 2 and Open Red Alert... And now I've just been assigned loads of coursework just before I go on holiday to London! Depending on how well my work goes, I might be able to fit in some time to code towards the end of the month, and in the new year, but by the looks of it I'm going to be massively busy for the next few weeks, sorry guys!

So out of curiosity, what about networking? Just the .net Remoting stuff?
Combination of System.Net.TcpClient and some crazy modified binary serialization stuff. All standard .net stuff though.

So THIS is how migrations start.
"Hey, dude, there's this crazy bastard digging in the ground for stuff. Let's go watch."
