In my fort, anyone who slays a Forgotten Beast or Titan gets knight status and is given their own room, tomb and set of fieldplate.
I've got two so far.

My own most honoured dorf is from 31.25 (pre vampire/necromancer patch) Udil <missing> the Noble of Oiling, my militia commander. 46 notable kills (2 forgotten beasts, 1 roc, 36 goblins, 7 trolls) and 22 minor kills. Finally brought down during the letting in of a lot of forgotten beasts at once (into a kill zone) and catching the fallingdowndeaditis syndrome that spread around my fort (breached the circus since the outbreak was getting out of hand). A few other dwarves in that fort had around 40 kills too but they were disqualified due to some of their kills being dwarves carrying silk socks to the depot at the wrong time.
