Sami:
Once more Argus rolls into the tunnels below town in hopes of finding more KotS to kill, rob, or otherwise harass. Today however the robot finds something far more interesting...
Maynard Helm stands in a corridor facing off with a Snorlax sized creature that can be described as resembling a hideously deformed Clefable. Argus quickly freezes in place and activates every trick in its arsenal to avoid detection. They are speaking to each other, and the tone is one of a heated argument, but the language is completely Alien to you.
The words seem to be longer than a basic English sentence, and some of the sounds used could not possibly originate from a human throat. As they speak the camera seems to shake and the air around them distorts. "Must just be a problem with reception in the tunnels..." you try to reassure yourself. Something about what is being spoken strikes you as illogically powerful, and a shiver goes up your spine.
As the discussion continues, it becomes clear that the strange beast has gained the upper hand. Maynard begins sweating, and eventually hangs his head and falls silent. The monster talks for a few more seconds, before it turns to leave passing inches away from Argus on its way out of the corridor. Maynard too departs, heading off in another direction...
Neither party notices Argus, and both are moving slow enough to be followed. Whom do you wish to tail?

When Argus returns, you find the bots AI core to be rather scrambled and fragmented. Something about the events of the day seems to have harmed its processors. It takes you hours to get the robot sorted out, and by the time you finish, you don't have time to scan your Kadabra before you must get to bed early to recover from your injuries.

Doug:
You bump into Dusty, the JS aligned Houndour mutant who took you home awhile back, in a downtown cafe and he offers to treat you to brunch and some drinks. As you enjoy your meal and get rather sloshed, Dusty complains to you about his jerk of a boyfriend. He dosn't give you enough information to track the man down, but you learn that he is some sort of steel type mutant and that he lives in Septicslum.
After the meal Dusty takes you home again for some more drinks and... other activities. All in all your morning and early afternoon is fun, but not very productive. After you have taken your fill of Dusty for the day
Burnout flats is a scary place; so many drug dealers, Kings, and desperate looking impoverished people are hanging around even you are rather uncomfortable. Luckily you soon spot a familiar face in Pisces Cole. The mutant approaches you, and the pair of you start talking business.
The pair of you spend some time discussing Chekhov's plan, but something just seems a bit off. Cole is less polite than usual, and takes a few nasty jabs at humanity. He treats you condescendingly like a young child, and makes you re-itterate the entire plan/scenario to him to prove you know what you are doing.
By the time you are done talking you have learned no new information, and are angry, fusterated, as well as a bit paranoid. Something was terribly wrong with that discussion, and you can't quite put a finger on what it was...

Lucian:You sleep in to recover from your injury and then end up having to spend a few hours discussing the split personality thing with a hysterical Lucy and comforting her.
By the time you calm you sister down it is too late to check out the Tome of the Earth, as Doug is calling you down to explore Septicslum with him.

You head down to the lab first thing in the morning and get to work with the Wired Crystal at Rik's artificer station. As you hold the device in your hand, something tugs at the back of your brain. Searching the depths of your head, you conclude that the Crystal is likely reading your mind and broadcasting your innermost thoughts somewhere else.
In a panic, you drop the Crystal and run to tell Rik what you have found. The young mutant gives the psychic hunk of rock a good lookinging over before he speaks. "Yeaaaah. I think I see that. Fascinating. Lets give it a proper investigation..."
You are handed Rik's Item Aura reading glasses and told to note any changes in the color, size, or intensity of the crystal's glow as he prods it with various experimental devices. The aura starts out purple and dim, and remains as such for most of the experimentation. Eventualy Rik sprinkles a powder on the Crystal, and it's aura turns a brilliant silver before fading to green. When you tell him this, Rik nods.
"Very good. I should be able to reverse engineer the Crystal into a few cool toys then..."

Leaving Rik, you move to prepare a shipping crate with the special anti-intagability coating for Phyllis before loading the Dusclops mutant inside and having the Smith Sisters drag her down to the docks for pickup. You then fill out the forms and hand them over to Faust, who happily pays you in advance out of his own pocket. After the expense of the container is accounted for the profit comes to just over 1500 py.

Deciding to do something a bit more people oriented, you head to the interrogation room and send for Afina. The Vampire noble is quite thrilled to have somebody to talk to, and starts giving out useful information as you start telling your story.
"Your working with Peter tomorrow? He's so cute. You'd think him harmless running around with a party full of Zubat, but he actualy subscribes to the often overlooked 'underdog' school of Pokemon training. He used to kick me around all the time, and most of my Pokemon were evolved. Even when they were not, I always had two years trainer experience on him."
Figuring that she must have grown up with the Von Streaks, you push the topic a bit. "Yeah. Vlad and Monica were stuck up and unapproachable to all but their closest friends, but I got to know Pete a bit. He was shy growing up, but then his first girlfriend was killed in the Nordic Wars. He was going to school in Norway as part of an exchange student program with Odin's Army, and fell in love with a Valkyrie 10 years his elder. They dated for a year before she was slaughtered in that trap Faust set in Copenhagen."
The story hits you a bit close to home, and although Afina doesn't know the details, she can still see you tearing up. "Don't cry yet. I haven't even gotten to the saddest part. He gets back home and falls for some commoner human girl. They go out for at least a year and a half. When Pete's family finds out that he is considering asking the girl to marry him, they have her quietly sent to a labor camp in Siberia. I actually had a job in the Deportations office and told him of her fate myself. He said he knew. Vlad had spent all of the previous day mocking him about it."
She shrugs. "Since then he has kind of made it is rule to prevent people from being as miserable as he is. He shoots movies to lift the public spirit, and maintains as many open relationships as possible. If you don't want him to make a move on you, don't let him see you are unhappy."
You ask about his relationship with his sibblings and the lesser noble smiles. "Its terrible. Him and Vlad do stupid things just to spite each other all the time. I hear Peter found a legit treasure map, and Vladimir forbid him the time and men to pursue it. How silly is that."
You take a mental note of the map, and then steer the conversation away from Peter. You soon find yourself having a discussion about Kathy's clam chowder.

Susan:
You bring Afina to the scanner first thing in the morning and fire the machine up. Just as the machine gets going however there is a power surge, which messes the equipment up and gives the subject some mild electric shocks. You attend to Afina's injuries while Carlos looks the machine over.
"Máquina maldito estúpido! Está muerto. It's dead Susan. I'm going to have to spend all day fixing it. Again."

After patching Afina up, escorting her back to her cell, and giving Carlos a non-booze based outlet for his fusteration, you drag Gene's corpse to the slab. Determined to see that at least SOME science gets done today you decide to pay no mind to keeping the corpse intact as you probe it for the information Carlos needs to make his magnificent device safe for human use. By the time you are finished the body is in several hundred messy pieces, but Carlos has some data that can be used.

Doug:
The pair of you head out for Septicslums in search of adventure. The underground settlement is cramped, crowded, stinky, and scared, but it does feel nice to be in a place policed by none of the major factions for a change.
But you quickly learn the lack of a major faction means no poliecing at all; A group of three humans, two men and a woman, armed with guns pops out from behind an outflow pipe to hold the group up.
Doug and Lucian make short work of their attackers; guns are nice and all, but they are no match for two fairly well trained WPSF agents using well trained pokemon, weaponized aura, and various guns and melee weapons of their own.
After the dust clears the two of you partake in the tried and true WPSF tradition of looting the unconscious attackers, however as you work you are approached by an Arbok mutant who instructs you to stop. "That was a nice take-down, but all property of defeated criminals belongs to the Septicslum Citizen Police Force."
"I never heard of such a group." Doug announces suspiciously.
"Its just myself and my grown children." The mutant admits. "The wife works for one of the big-boy factions upstairs and sends down enough money to keep food on the table and the lights on. Since we don't have to work, we use our free time to give back to the community."
Lucain can tell from the mutant's aura that he is being honest, and instructs Doug to let him have the loot.
The mutant nods in thanks. "I'm Sheriff Wilt Kull. Pleased to meet ya. If you all are sellswords looking to make a profit by beating up scumbags, I can help you."
He hands over a wanted poster. "There is this nasty little gang of kidnappers who have set up shop in the tunnels nearby. We don't have much money to give as a reward, but I've convinced alot of local busniess to offer free goods and services to people who can help take the bastards down."
