moving milk to barrels.

Will dwarves move milk from buckets to barrels?

Because my dwarves just store it in buckets. Is there any additional reuirement for them to move it to a larger container, besides having free barrels? Will they ever do it?

They've moved it into barrels the few times I've bothered to milk stuffs. It does seems to take a while for them to notice, though! I don't think there're any requirement, other than having the stockpile for milk set to have barrels.

How long have you been waiting for them to barrel the milk?

I have just provided the barrels a few ingame days ago. just noticed that noone darted to move the milk.

Oh, it can take a week or two in-game time, or as long as a couple month, before someone notices! Some processes are pretty low priority, or doesn't immediately registers, like cleaning jobs.
