Taking offsecs computer pen testing course

Hey guys.

Im currently going through the process of registering for offensive securitys pen testing course and starting to have a few worrys about it.

Just wondering if anyone has done this course or had any experiance with it?

having a few bumps with registering for the course and customer service seems to be really shit :P.

Basically if you know all of the network commands in linux you should be successful. I haven't taken this course myself but im in a class next year and from what i done on backtrack is experience personally.

What I'm mostly worried about is it being a scam or something the customer service is horrendous. I'm 18 and live by my self but when I applied for that course the wanted me to get parental consent...

no idea but customer service for off sec is the biggest pile and bullshit i have ever encountered 4 emails over the course of 2 weeks not one back -.-

I have a "friend" who took it 18+ months ago and the whole operation was one guy with another helping occasionally. It's not really a school as much as a class being run by a guy. Due to the nature of the work, it's hard to know what his qualifications truly are but my "friend" felt that it was valuable learning and challenging. It is not a beginner course or even lateral to the 2 year degrees in Networking.
