(( What do you have in mind for the cue? I considered a spear but I could not think of anything hugely useful to make of it when we already have a bat and a knife, could use a hammer or something or a second knife to use both at once. ))

We could use it as a straight stick for a spear to use as a longer-reach weapon, we could burn it in an emergency, or we could play pool once we get settled.

(( We'll need to find something hard and sharp then and some tools if we want a spear that wont snap straight away. ))

Just don't use the side of the spear.
Or, pool.

(( Thin at the point though it would take damage every time it hit bone, it'd need strengthening and something sharper made of metal or stone on the end, but that should be pretty simple to arrange if we find a decent kitchen. ))

Indeed. Anyways, not like we can lose if we just leave it in the truck until we get to the house again.

You take the pool cue, and pool balls before exiting the room. You also grab the batteries from the office, thinking about plugging them into the flashlight later.

You look around the building for a spare water canister, but the only one you can find is a smashed, empty canister. It could hold water, but the problem is, it has no water. The entire time you spend searching for one that might be filled leaves you on edge, constantly checking around your shoulder in case another walker would show up to make a meal of you. Your breathing is unnaturally loud in this very, very quiet world, every step you take sending a plume of dust into the air.

It really is unsettling.

You walk back to your truck, feeling like you've pilfered everything you can from here. You could head to a restaurant, the used car lot, (Which has no cars, such a pity!) or check out the motels.

Inventory:
Backpack
Tent
7 Buckshot Shells
4 cans of food
Flask
Canteen (8/10's full.)
Flashlight
Batteries
3 pool balls

Weapons:
.357 Revolver (4)
Shotgun (Full)
Serrated knife
Cricket Bat
Pool cue

Go search the restaurant, take in the hammer or wrench and a knife, wield both.

Keep the hammer in hand and the wrench and knife within easy reach.
