Preference for Plump Helmets

No, this isn't a 'plump helmets are the best crop' thread. It's a 'my dwarves think plump helmets are the best crop' thread.

The field on the left is made up of gray lichens (Added by a mod), the field on the right is made up of dimple cups, and the one in the middle is made up of, you guessed it, Plump Helmets.

Why in Armok's name are they doing this?

Check your main farmer's thoughts. Maybe it's said that he likes PH best.

Looks like there're either not enough seeds for other crops, or the farmers were closer to the plump helmet patch. Dwarves seems to like to do the closest job :D

Probably the seeds thing; Plump Helmet Spawn outnumber the other two 8 to 1.
