CAN'T GET IT TO WORK LINUX!!! HELP!!!!!

I am new to C++ and indie games in general, but it keeps saying "./libs/Dwarf_Fortress: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL-1.2.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64"  wtf!?!?!?

If I'm interpreting that message correctly, DF requires a 32-bit version of libSDL, but yours is 64-bit.

It appears that when my personal computer runs the software "Dwarf Fortress" it fails to properly execute.
