Add a pre-played map to game?

I've seen sites where you can download different DF maps but I never understood how to add them to your game so you can play them. Any help?

I'm assuming your messing with game files which is why I put it here in modding section.

Put their 'regionX' folder into your 'Save' folder. 
Make sure you do not already have an existing region folder with that number.
Make sure you are using their tileset and mods if they have them.
