House Stonewood has been tending to the Pact and the Crown...actually nobody knows since when. There had always been a Stonewood in the Pact and Harald only being the last of an illustrous line of Lords and Ducs. As one of the main producers of Gems, House Stonewood could have been considered rich if not for the War of the Hounds. While not stripped of Titles and lands( as the Stonewoods ability to find gems in the Crown was considered to valuable), they had to pay enormous sums of reperation fees to the rest of the Kingdom, which drove them into poverty.

Harald himself has always been to "straight-forward" for his father. Although he doesn't lack the apparent inherent abilities of his family his father had always joked that this must be the Blackshield blood(from his mother) in him that made him more of a soldier than anything else. Harald had come to power under rather tragic circumstances. After the almost eradication of the Blackshields, his mother had commited suicide, driving his father into a deep depression and retirement. With 20 years Harald is pretty young for such a position as the Lord of Stonewood, but his father had him well prepared and Harald is willing enough to restore the wealth of his House.

Full Name: "Ursa, Blauritter (Or Chevalier-Bleu)." Emanhild
Bio: The child of an accomplished Adranic duc and a lesser Ampyrian noblewoman, "Ursa" inherited the duchy of Spiritusaer a few years ago due to the death to their parents. Ursa is quite capable with a sword, and with their namesake: a suit of what looks to be a very bulky and/or heavy suit of armour which mostly hides their figure from sight. Ursa has also received a basic military education post-ascension to the position of Duc, in order to better command the garrison.

Full name: Anakyrto Vlepo O Athiktos
Bio: Anakyrto is from Ralkarian. Seeking a new life, his desire to accomplish soemthing and the lack of general honesty and chivalry of his old homeland, Anakyrto left to travel the world. Before he did, he withdrew
all his money, used some of it to purchase a ship and crew. Over the months he was traveling with them, the crew and Anakyrto grew closer, and no longer followed him just because of money. Loyal, however, would be a
strech.

He arrived in Windheath because he had heard of the new king, and that was always a unique oppurtunity to change how a kingdom is run. Idealy, he would be able to gain a small piece of land, large enough for a
manor, but not too big, because his main concern was to be of the king and his loyalists. Long term, he hoped to become close enough to the king to advise him on all matters, and generally work the kingdom to a
higher moral standard. Short term, he needs to gain an audience with the king, and a position in his court.

He is not bad at anything, but neither is he good at anything. Anakyrto spends most of his time reading books or talking to people, especially the more important and influential, as he can.

Anakyrto is 27, has dark brown, but not quite black, hair and fair, but lightly tanned skin, and green eyes. He stands about 5 feet 8 inches (157cm), and strong, but not as muscled as a warrior.

Full Name: Zacharie de Chastain

Bio: The house Chastain has a long and storied history, beginning from their founding when Erik Chastain, then a lowly knight in the service of the now long dead House Blow, broke his oaths and betrayed his liege in order to assume control of the region on behalf of the Conrichts. Despite his great dishonor, a blemish upon the man which was so great that it would see the fief and fort renamed to reflect his deeds, Erik Chastain was, by all accounts, a capable ruler, driven by a desire to protect his subjects and guide them upon a righteous and moral path. In the decades that followed, historians would wonder just where his line went wrong.

Zacharie, conversely, was the second son begotten by Count Lucas de Chastain. As such, under the impression that his elder brother Francois would be the rightful heir, he was not truly trained in the ways of a lord. Quickly, in fact, the young Zacharie gained a reputation as a scoundrel and rake, concerned more with worldly pleasures and the deflowering of Oathbreaker's virgins than he ever was the duties of nobility. A disgrace upon his house, and for all of that his father could not be rid of him- For his mother loved him so, and the chains of all great men are the women whom they, in turn, find themselves besot with.

In recent times, Zacharie, a handsome, chestnut-haired rake of twenty-two years, has found himself in an entirely new position. An illness has overtaken his household, and his father and brother quickly fell ill and each, in turn, succumbed to the final rest which finds us all. Left as the final heir (for even were it acceptable for his sister to rule, she would be far too young at the tender age of 10, and his mother, in her years, could not lead), Zacharie must now step up and take the lead.
As one hunter was heard saying in a local tavern: "May mother Milayjna save us all."

Zacharie is handsome, and a consummate womanizer. Affable, with an inbred sense of reckless youth which endears him to others despite their misgivings, and skill with lute and harp gained through years of ill spent hours, Zacharie is naturally capable when it comes to persuading others.

Once upon a time, like many youngsters, Zacharie had dreams of becoming a bravo. As he grew older, his father was more than happy to aid in these endeavors in the hopes of curing him of his scandalous ways through either martial discipline or sending him off to die. Having lost interest in that manner of fame, in favor of a manner of infamy brought about by his womanizing, Zacharie never became a bravo- but he remains a capable swordsman, all the same.

Name: Ascalon of Minstead

Position: Socman of Minstead (Fluff)

Appareance:With his small stature and bald head, Ascalon look more the part of a craftman than that of a knight. A long scar across his right cheek is the only witness of the many battle he took part in.

Bio: Ascalon was one of old King Arvin's captains. For his liege, he fought in many battles, and some said that it was his tactical leadership that gave House Conricht the throne. After his liege's death, he removed himself from politics, disgusted by the Iron Queen's methods. He lost most of the land he had won in the War, giving vast swathe of land to various temples and loosing even more by the Queen's confiscation until only the old family hamlet of Minstead was left.

Ascalon would have been ready to live through a quiet and forgotten old age, until came the news of the Haegar massing north of the border. Ascalon knew of the fate those barbarians would reserve to the good people of Windheath should they ever cross the border. Raising to his duty, the old knight dusted his old war-harness and rode with his greying squire for one last feat of arm.
