Torchlight 2 Rush Game?

Probably belongs in "Play with your Buddies" but whatever.  Idea is simple.  Hop in TL2 with new characters, ignore all sidequests, bypass all dungeons, rush past all little NPC with that optional shit above their heads.  How far in the plot can a party get as fast as they can?

I'm thinking one Saturday evening we just spam out some speed games.  The real trick will be staying together so that everyone gets exp.  Without the endless side-quests, levels will be generally very low.

More info needed, like what difficulty, is it  HC characters?

Man, if anyone does this legally on elite HC, without farming areas and rushing only for main quests, I will bow before him.
