So I'm playing adventure mode (at this point I'm wandering around) and I notice on the map there's a dark fortress, and so I go to check it out and on the map it has the ***. I've never EVER found a dark fortress that wasn't a completely empty area. There is no fortress there's just normal land!!!

Its normal. Toady hasn't put in the sites yet. Thats actually coming next version, so expect it maybe january, February, Etc.

Also elves and dwarven sites.
