If you retire your adventurer in a cave and embark on the cave, what happens?

Your adventurer is a resident, possibly a hostile one.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!

You can't retire in a cave, only "give in to starvation". You can retire in a mountainhome and get the adventurer as migrant. And you can let him drop stuff at your embark site before he retires.

You can retire in kobold caves. I did that once.
It was a dragonwrought kobold, from a mod. It...massacred my dwarves...
