As far as i can tell, the respons on this forum has been middle-ish or good.
And a bunch of people not liking either the genre or multiplayer in general.

So i went ahead and bought the game.

Right off the bat I was a bit disappointed, because of how terrible the engine is running, and i took me about 40 minutes to find a game.

However, when you find a good team, this game is damn fun!

One thing though, is that Aliens should have the ability to give orders like marines, there is no reason Aliens should be so disorganized.
You just end up giving the same orders over voice instead of the interface.

Also, why is orders not displayed on the marine map?

There are honestly a large number of problems that should never have made it past multiplayer. The only thing that marines can see appears to be the map pings, but apart from that I think one of the developers made them his love child and started hissing and screaming at people who tried to change them in any way.
