Butcher/Eat Sapient in Adventure mode?

I was wondering if it was possible to be able to do this. I already have a civ that finds cannibalism acceptable, but I cannot butcher sapients in adventure mode.

I think it is coded into adventure mode.  Though I think if your adventurer gets hungry enough, he/she will butcher and eat sapients.
