deities with or without histories

Why do some deities have no history?
Shouldn't they list your dwarves who worship them?
Is it implied that they aren't real, but those with are?

Because Toady has done little-no work on dieties themselves

they will likely have history once Toady actually puts them in the game proper.

The game doesn't list every being who begins to worship a being. They might note some important historical figures who were raised in a different pantheon, and they WILL note if someone starts worshipping a megabeaast.
