drealmerz7 - pk was supreme pick for traitor too I think, and because of how it all is and pk is he is just feeding into the trollfucking so well.

On the subject of wells, is it true that a pump turn stagnant water into clean water, and tha twells that have never provided stagnant water then provide clean water if built over a pumped water tile?

I consider doing this for my hospital in my new fortress, but if it wont work il save myself the hassle...

...but dwarves will drink any kind of water from wells, IIRC.  Can't remember, though, if they also don't get bothered by water they'd complain about (stagant stuff) if they were to drink such from a non-well source.  (Because it doesn't desalinate/refresh/etc, merely lets them drink it, regardless.)

Dwarves will drink any kind of water from wells.
Even wells laced with the blood of broken vampires laying in the bottom. :D
