So, I decided that rather than take the normal, velvet revolution route where you isolate and protect your founder, I was just going to build a personal army and shoot everyone. Does anyone forsee any issues with this. that I may be unaware of?

A lot of people do that, the only problems you need to be aware is police raids, which can advance into Army raids, and getting your founder killed without having somebody able to lead the LCS. To make police raids easier, get a sleeper in the police station, and then close down the police station whenever you get a warning, if you don't want to do that just buy traps and only kill people that fall into traps. To keep the LCS alive just make sure to keep him/her in armor and make sure to get people with enough juice to lead as early as you can. I suggest start in nightmare mode so you can just buy M16's.

Not really, I think Nightmare mode is easier then regular mode, more conseritives around make it easier for you to find people to kill for more juice and more training for weapons, and you just buy guns like they were candy, so theres no shortage of weapons to train with. Plus, with 4.06.2, you can buy an AA gun to shoot down bombers the Military brings, making Army raids much less dangerous, the guns also make Bank Robbings MUCH easier.

Crosstrain!  This is key in combat strategies really, that way you have fewer true critical members.

Get law on your founder followed by a few points of education as soon as possible and make your priority teaching that to your soldiers.  A nice soldier or police sleeper can flood you with gear early.

If in nightmare mode then get rid of deathsquad asap by shutting down the cops repeatedly until the people curtail them bypassing the government..

Now you can go the megaforceful route with some impunity, if you get in over your head just surrender and defend yourself, the juice boost for that rocks and if combined with a sleeper judge you can usually walk on some really heinous rapsheets.  I generally make my soldiers all stealthy too so could probably spring the entire organization from death cells with any single member.

The other benefit of course of that law teaching is any non-criminal liberals you have can also defend themselves legally from stuff like flag burning which they might get hit with.

You will learn to love the police station, raid it nice and regularly.  Getting seiged all the damn time sucks.

Doing things the FUN way will mean that your LIBERAL FREEDOM FIGHTERS will have plenty of juice. Just try to keep someone in a secret hideout away from the rest with enough juice (probably 200 I think) to start over from scratch if everyone dies. If you pick the "violent criminal" starting choice, you'll start with a bunch of armed gang members, but on the long term it might be better to take the "just surviving" for the first aid skill. If the heat gets too much to handle, going to jail and breaking free wipes your criminal record and replaces it with a single count of escaping prison, which is quite easy to get away with compared to, say, a couple hundred murders.

Keep the police station closed down, check its status constantly so you can attack them as soon as they reopen.  Same for any other outfit that you've provoked sufficiently to raid you (fire, CIA, CEO mercs)  Also make sure you have several full squads of armed killers in your base(s) so if it comes to it you can lay down a massive barrage of fire and kill or maim all your opponents before they can shoot back.

raiding intelligence HQ is very fun , i once got heavy body armor from corporate HQ .

for base defenders your after quantity not quality, only the 6 at the front can be wounded.
the best base defenders are hackers as thay work in doors and cant get arrested.
the best weapon is the AR15 as it is cheap powerfull and uses less ammo than other Rifles or Smgs.

AR15 uses less ammo just because it doesn't shoot more that 2 times , while M16 and AK-45 shoot 3 times, wich is enough to blow a persson in half .
hackers are going to raise your heat and they aren't good guards unless they have weapon skill and/or dodge .
