I figured PixelQuest could use an OOC thread of its own to hold any discussions that need to take place.

And in case you lose the game thread, it's right here.


And now I have a place to post and say "Hey, so and such is wrong with your post, you should probably fix it." without bumping up the actual PixelQuest thread and making everyone think I've actually updated.

Keeping in spirit with that; Gunin', I'm not sure a guy with absolutely no skill with pistols is going to be able to take down a flying, metal robot as large as himself with a single shot from a dinky pistol. You don't have to change your action though.

Markus and Leo training back at the Shelter should definitely help cut down on the time before I give an update for you and SerCon.

You could bring people to Level 1 Rifles, but nowhere past that without using ammunition. It probably wouldn't be worth the time it took unless you were teaching everyone who didn't know how to use a rifle how to use one. Training each other in general isn't really a great use of time (Time is pretty valuable when the army is slowly advancing) unless you're only teaching them enough to reach Level 1.

I doubt that I could take that robot down with my rifle and I'm maxed in using them.

I doubt that I could take that robot down with my rifle and I'm maxed in using them.

Actually, you could probably take one of those down yourself, if you knew where to aim.

Oh yeah, before I made the post I was thinking "Well, they'll be able to hear the gunshots from back at the Shelter, so the others should be able to come and help/save James and Walrus." But then I just forgot to make any mention of that.

There is an OOC thread guys. And I think dismantling the house and making barricades would give them more access to us than just keeping the house as is. We need food and water, and an actual, permanent base set up before we can really worry about other resources.

We don't know what we're up against, but the best bet is ranged weaponry -- guns or automatons, most likely.

We can't hold them with wood and a few scavenged weapons that aren't even long ranged rifles.

I'm voting for heading out. We've got good pathfinders anyway. Carry what we can, then move out.
