Orubthadar "The Everlasting Planets" was a vanilla DF world. Kironineth "Holy City", my fort, was abandoned after marking it as a site with DFHack to prevent object scattering. Kubuk Akrellolok Shisluguzar Tegir "Kubuk Raregranite the Muddled Grotto of Breeds", my demigod dwarf adventurer, ventured to my fort to retrieve some blue weapons and armor. Kubuk then proceeded to do various quests for a human lady living in a nearby fort. After the lady run out of quests Kubuk decided to kill her, along with everyone else living in the fort. Kubuk then attacked the nearby village. While slaughtering the population Kubuk stumbled upon a vampire, promptly killing him and drinking his blood, thus becoming a vampire himself. Kubuk visited the nearby tombs, where he talked with the mummies, persuading one to join him. Kubuk then left for a goblin dark fortress where he retired for a few days. He began adventuring once more. On the way he met a goblin ambush. The goblins joined him and tasked him with killing a werebeast. Curious as to how werebeast transformations worked Kubuk decided to wait outside the beast's lair until the moon was full. However...
I was waiting outside a werebeasts lair. This is the lair when I arrived:
This is the lair after about five days of waiting:
This is the lair after about 15 days of waiting:
The white ones are either purring maggot leather or cave blob skin
After this it takes about 15 minutes for an action to be taken due to the amount of leather in the site.
So I just wanted to ask has anyone else noticed it before? Should I report it to the bugtracker? And can somebody tell me the best way to wait for a werebeast to turn?
