on the 26th and 27th of moonstone and 3rd of opal I had kids born.  why so many births; boredom?

I've noticed births of pretty much everything tend to cluster. I think because all females who can get pregnant...do.

For quite a while in my current for all the bitches whelped almost simultaneously. For a few frantic days every dwarf with animal handling would be stuffing newborn puppies into cages full time.
