Author Topic: Question: How do I (drastically) increase the number of dwarves and migrants?  (Read 1748 times)

I'm using masterwork mod, and vanilla 34.11 LNP

I want to edit migrant waves to give me either:
A. More Migrants per waves
B. More frequent Migrant Waves
C. Migrant waves regardless of whether the civilization survives.

If I can't do C. What steps can I take to increase the survivability  of the civilization?

I want more dwarves to perform ritual sacrifices... Amrok demands it.

A. Increase fortress value. You can make a mod to turn boulders into gold bars or something.
B. Not possible.

Cii. Give them NEAT and remove it once you begin play.

If you remove their [BABY:X] token and change them to have [CHILD:1] then any born dwarves will grow up in a single year at which point they can start having more children, allowing for massive amounts of dwarves.

If you have DFhack, try making a few rock statues right away and changing them to candy statues by placing your "k" cursor over the statue and typing

No, though you could make a reaction that turned body parts into a pseudo-balistae arrow.

Failing that you can just fling minecarts with dorfs in them at people.

It may not kill anything, but damn if it won't look dwarvenly. Bonus points if they're on fire.
