I was in the process of building my entrance with upright spike traps linked to a repeater...

Not even finished yet and already my dwarves have learned to dodge like masters into the pit of death which is lined with even more traps and dun stuff.

So my doctor is now on OVER time treating the 5 dwarves who failed to dodge the repeaters, also a migrant wave of over 20 dwarves showed up shortly after completion of said traps and only 7 of them survived,

Good news is all my dwarves don't give a rats butt about anything anymore.

For the record I didn't mean to start the traps so early and these crazy little blighters were SO close to a trantrum spiral good thing building 20+ statutes saves the day...

Oh no a dwarven baby just bled to death from my spike traps, don't know if I feel bad or not.

I once had a mother enter a dangeroom with her son, dughter, dog, grizzlybear, and goat. As you can understand she couldnt feel anything after that.

Babies are fine, but never let an owned cat get in a danger room. I have lost a few good dwarfs to that.

How do you keep them out? I have about 6 non-pet-passable doors on the way into my danger room, and pets still sometimes get through.

I started making danger gantlets witch changes in dificulty from wood spears to steel all the way to flooded wooden spikes and so on... only one person ever made it through in one shot and he was given the house of his dream!
