So, I had a GREAT fortress coming along, all happy, bearly no idlers, metal system starting up, good milita...
Then a Zombie seige came, people were gathering wood.
The Caravan died and so did 20 dwarvs out of 117.
THEN a group of trogledytes killed just about everyone in my caves,
all of 40 dwarves.
THEN a DRAGON came, killing the zombies and the necromancer.
The Dragon flew into my fortress... Killing the bunch and scattering the rest into the caverns.
So now I have a few dwarves, slowly starving to death...

I write this as they starve...
I have truely experienced fun, havent I?

Yes, you are having fun.  Are you in your first year?

I had 117 dwarves, And no iron anvil.
So I could not start up the metal industry till the 3rd year.

[pabrams]

Oh yeah, oops I'm a dummy, 117 dwarves in year 1 is not even possible unmodded.

Yeah, I just wanted to tell my tale, and I laughed so hard about it.

[Loud Whispers]

Smaller fish eating bigger fish til' the small fish become big fish. Which then eat your Dwarves.

Not that it matters, although yes, they cannot actually fly.

I assume he just assumed/wrote it that away for a better mind-image.

I did not mean fly, as in he flew right through us?
We tried to get the gate up for our milita to kill it... and it flew right threw them.
Not as in fly, that was not what I ment.
Sorry for not making things clear.
