Hi ,

I a have a dwarves soldiers who wont take his weapon. I have not build training facilities yet , but would change something ?

The dwarves stay idle, although i have toggle the exact matches option . He wears is armor , but not the weapon. And he fight with is fist.

What is problem ?

Open the (s)quads menu and set the squad to active/training. If that doesn't help, give them a station order, and they should pick up their weapons.

Also, make sure you've set the squad uniform settings to "Replace clothing" instead of "Over clothing".

He strangle a goblin and explode his brain... but i wish he would smash it with an axe

In my experience IRL, it's easier to hurt yourself with an axe or hammer than with a fist. Unless the fist is someone else's and they're mad at you.
