Too much garbage to filter on youtube, so I'm gonna ask here.

I'm looking for some interesting let's play in evil embark sites, with vanilla DF (stuff like therapist and dfhack is ok). Recent versions obviously.
Possibly forts played by competent people, able to live past season 3.

I don't think there's many Lets Plays for 34.xx, but there might be some that I haven't found yet.

I have a 10 year fort 34.10 (upgraded to 34.11 when it came out) going on my 43rd hour of game play (rough estimate since I do hour episodes). Its on a normal embark to show newbies how to play for the first time so its not evil embark but I've dug all the way down to the spoilers and survived the fun by the skin of my teeth (but it takes a long time to get to that point if you watch them all in order). Fended off a few seiges and what not. Avoided any tantrum spirals and currently have a king. I don't know... People seem to like and keep subscribing and commenting so I keep playing.

I don't use DFHack, Therapist, Danger rooms, or water generators because I am a purist.

I'm more interested about advanced military/defense than basic tutorials, but the spoiler part sounds very interesting.

Yeah, word of warning though. It takes me a bit to get into the military but I eventually do but its spread across several videos as I try to work out kinks in my squad. For one they weren't wearing all the proper uniforms and took ages to get that to work for some reason.

I have been trying out some let's playing recently and will probably tackle this soon now that you've given me the idea. My issue with DF let's plays is that they can drag on, but I suppose an evil embark won't have that problem.

This is a bit late but I've been doing several Let's Play video series. I won't admit to some of the earlier ones being of good quality, but the quality should improve as you go to later ones. I just finished my 5th playlist.
