9 Regions all missing Flux Stone?

So I've been following through the O'Reilly book and have generated 9 different regions that, when using the site finder settings from the book will not find any valid sites.  After looking closer, it appears none of those regions have any Flux stone anywhere in them. I've arrived at this by watching the site finder cook through the regions, Flux Stone Yes always stays red.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. Any suggestions?

There's currently a bug that prevents flux from appearing on the site finder when the mineral scarcity is set to 'everywhere'. I'd recommend either setting it to 'frequent' or using something like DFhack's prospect command. Statistically, there's *probably* flux anyway, since most areas have marble deep down, and the other fluxes are common sedimentary layer stones.

The flux indicator is pretty darn unreliable both ways.
