PCGamer recently reformatted their website to be incomprehensible to me, so I'm looking for a new website to get my pc gaming news from.  At the moment I'm down to just Rock Paper Shotgun.  Anybody have a good suggestion? 

I'd like:
1)  A linear format of posts, like rockpapershotgun.
2)  No (or minimal) console news.  Just PC stuff.

Where would you put quality on the list of priorities?  I used to like The Escapist, but their site format has gone to shit and it is a pain to navigate.  Also, I feel that their content used to be better and has become a bit diluted.  Honestly, I feel the same about RPS, so YMMV.

I'm not sure there are any good general "PC gaming" sites, but if you are willing to specialize by genre you can find some good stuff.  For example, I follow Tacticular Cancer, and Space Sim Central.

There are probably other sites for other genres.

Quality threshold is semi-low on my priority list sadly.  I'm not a fan of RPS either, but at the moment its all I got.  I'll take a look at the escapist.

Edit:  Eh, Escapist has that same unreadable format.  Just everything plastered all over the place.  I'm hoping for something that I scroll through one article at a time, so I can see at a glance what I haven't read.  IndieDB doesn't look half bad though.

If you want to read things one article at a time you could consider an RSS reader like feedly http://feedly.com/, then adding the website's RSS feed.

I don't follow gaming news anymore, but when i did i liked how clear and very readable Blue's News was (and after a quick look , still is) as long as you're not caring much about screenshots (as there's none) and don't mind some non-games news once a while:

but if you want some genre-specific news try: rpgcodex & sister site tacticular cancer, rpgwatch, combatsim, wargamer, or adventuregamers

Okay, thanks people.  Kinda too bad there isn't as many options as I would have expected.  I think I'll try to rig up feedly.  I've had bad luck with RSS feeds acting weird in the past, but I haven't tried it in a while so its probably worth another try.

I like Pule for my RSS.  I read my webcomics on it, and follow some online news magazines and such.
